Explores the concept of kapara on Yom Kippur, and the idea that the שעיר המשתלח   could attain forgiveness for Klal Yisroel.  Also, analyzes whether the kapara on Yom Kippur is different today than in the times of the Bais Hamikdash.  We will also discuss the concept of “עיצומו של יום מכפר” - literally, the day of Yom Kippur itself is a form of kapara - and how this concept applies to the various types of aveiros.
