Two independent sugyos related to Tekias Shofar

       1- Shevarim- Teruah    

   Discusses the enactment of Rabbi Abbahu that one should blow all different possible variations of treuah.  It explores various opinions among the rishonim as to the reason for this takanah, and its halachic implications.

    2-. Tekios before and during Shemoneh Esrei

 Discusses the essence of the different sets of tekios before and during shemoneh esrei, and the reasons behind it. Also discusses the custom of some to sound the shofar during the silent shemoneh esrei.
