When two mitzvos come into conflict, the one that is more frequently observed takes precedence. We will also explore if this simply is a matter of precedence, or does it completely negate the other mitzvah?  This Halacha has many ramifications regarding Sefiras Haomer, Chanuka lighting, i.e. Maariv, Havdalah, and ner Shabbos.
