This sugya focuses on accepting donations from non-Jewish sources (governments, organizations, and individuals).

As we learned in the previous booklet, (Mitzvas Tzedaka 9 - Kabalas Tzedaka M'Akum), it is not recommended to accept charity (for the poor) from outside sources. Does the Halacha view donations from outside sources (to organizations, Mosdos, Shuls, Yeshivos) differently?  In the times of the Bais Hamikdash, gentiles were allowed to bring Korbanos (as is learned from the Passuk in Vayikra 22:18).    Were they also allowed to donate towards the construction of the Bais Hamikdash?  What about donations for maintenance and upkeep - is there a difference between these two types of donations?  Do these rules apply to our Batei Mikdash me’at, as well as our Yeshivos and Mosdos Hatorah?  What about accepting donations from non-observant Jews?  Does it depend on one’s level/origin of rejection of Torah and Mitzvos?
